The annual Newman Lake Fourth of July Poker Run, sponsored by the Newman Lake Property Owner’s Association, will be Friday, July 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A map of participating docks will be posted as we get closer to the Fourth. In the meantime, volunteers are needed to host docks and hand out playing cards. If you have a waterfront property with a dock, this is a great way to meet your neighbors. It is fast-paced and best done with two or three people so invite the neighbors and make a party out of it! Prize donations are also needed. If you own a business in the area and donate a prize, your business name and logo will be used in our outreach materials for this event. All donations big and little are much appreciated!
