ake Property Owner’s Association (NLPOA) 4th of July Poker Run is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Everyone (of all ages!) is welcome to play. It’s simple- just follow these steps:
- Register to play in the Poker Run here. This is a requirement to play this year to protect the Newman Lake Property Owner’s Association and volunteers. A playing card can be downloaded at that link after filling out the short registration form. In the past, players picked up playing cards at any participating dock. This year we’re asking people to download their card in advance fill it out with name and contact info to speed things up and reduce lines at docks.
- Decorate your boat and/or wear a costume to compete in the best dressed boat and player contest.
- On July 4, bring the card(s) with you. Start at any dock with a yellow flag to start collecting your hand. Travel to docks in either a motorized watercraft or non-motorized (be sure to mark your playing card if you choose the non-motorized option as you have a better chance of winning!) You must visit a minimum of five docks to complete your hand. You can visit additional docks but it is not necessary.
- Turn in your filled in card at any dock by 2 p.m.
- Winners will be announced sometime the following week on Facebook.com/NewmanLakeWA
