The Newman Lake Property Owner’s Association (NLPOA), working with the Newman Lake Flood Control Zone District (NLFCZD), is excited to announce the first Newman Lake Carp Tournament! This event is another effort, among several underway currently, to improve water quality at Newman Lake as carp are known for stirring up sediment on the bottom of the lake, including harmful phosphorus, particularly during the spring mating season.
