Your community members that serve on the Newman Lake Flood Control Zone District Advisory Board would like to invite you to our first community meeting of the year to be held on June 21, at the Grange Hall from 6 to 8 pm.

This meeting will be structured a little different than the “summer meetings” of the past as community members will be briefing you on a variety of Newman Lake issues, many of which we need your help and input on.

Did you know that there is a wastewater feasibility study going on in Honeymoon Bay?  What is the proposed budget and assessments for 2018? What ever happened on the assessment petition for fair and equitable assessments?  Why is that water so green? These issues and more will be on the agenda.  Grab your friends and neighbors and gather information on a variety of community issues

*staff will not be presenting at this meeting only Advisory Board members of the NLFCZD
